Nursery Education

The District counts distributed 216 nursery schools currently in

all sectors of the District. The strength of these schools insufficient rest seen the
number of children that should frequent these establishments. Following
resulting them from the investigation done in 2006, the children aged of three to
five years were to the number of 10012 on 21613 either 46.32%. Some
average, a school should welcome 47 children.some sectors as
KARENGE(1,143 chirdren) and NYAKARIRO(1,074 chirdren) count a big numbers of
children in the school kindergarten more that of others.

Primary Education

The district of Rwamagana counts 53 school centers distributed in all
the sectors. The strength of the pupils to the primary school arrived to 38270 for
the academic year 2006.
According the administrative sectors; the Muhazi sector; Kigabiro and
Gahengeri, have the strength (of the children frequenting the primary school) of 3100
pupils for each.

Secondary Education

The district of Rwamagana counts 21 secondary schools having the Trunk
Common and different sections.
Seen the number important of the pupils, currently these schools function
with enormous difficulties: the school furniture insufficiency,
of facilities for the dormitories, refectories for the establishments who
shelter the pupils in the school and adds itself of it the insufficiency of the local of
class.

Higher education

As we evoked it, all others levels of teaching are
presented in Rwamagana district except the higher education. From the
geographical situation of the District of Rwamagana in relation to the
capital of Rwanda and the ex-city of Kibungo where are the Universities
who shelter a big number of the academic either 1222.
The Muhazi sectors, Kigabiro and Musha are the first to have one
big number of people having an academic level whereas the
Mwurire sectors, Munyaga and Munyiginyas are the respectively of it last.
